How to: Change graph datasheet options.
Solution:
Select the graph, and select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu.
NOTE: The 'Move Selection After Type' feature and the 'Cell Drag and Drop' feature are enabled by default when PowerPoint is installed.
Do the following to change the graph datasheet options:
1) Select the desired chart or graph. (Handles appear around the chart or graph.)
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Chart Object'. (The Chart Object submenu appears.)
3) Select 'Edit'. (A selection box appears around the chart or object.)

4) Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu.
5) Click 'Datasheet Options' tab.
6) (Optional) Do one of the following:
a) To enable moving the selection after entering data, select the 'Move Selection after Type' check box.

NOTE: The 'Move Selection After Type' feature moves the selected cell to the next row in the datasheet when ENTER is pressed.
b) To disable moving the selection after entering data, clear (uncheck) the 'Move Selection after Type' check box.

7) (Optional) Do one of the following:
a) To enable dragging and dropping, select the 'Cell Drag and Drop' check box.

b) To disable dragging and dropping, clear (uncheck) the 'Cell Drag and Drop' check box.

NOTE: The 'Drag and Drop' feature allows datasheet values to be selected and dragged to a new location using the mouse.
8) Click 'OK'.
